Safe, fast, and cost-effective inspections from above.
We promise not to drone on… (sorry, couldn’t resist).
While drones sometimes get a bad reputation, in the hands of trained professionals who follow the latest regulations, they’re a powerful tool for property assessment.
Roof inspections
Traditional roof inspections often mean scaffolding, cherry pickers, extra costs, and health & safety concerns. With an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), we can make the process:
Safe
No need to put people at risk
Quick
Cover large areas in a fraction of the time
Efficient
Target problem areas with precision
Economical
Lower costs compared to traditional methods
For example, in one project we inspected over 20,000 sqm of roof space across 15 buildings in a single day, capturing high-definition video and photos. We were also able to zoom in on suspected leak areas, giving the client’s contractor clear evidence to provide accurate quotes and repair schedules.
Aerial Surveys
Surveying large roofscapes or parcels of land can be tricky due to poor sight-lines and difficult access. Where clients might previously have settled for indicative roof plans or Ordnance Survey maps, drones now allow us to deliver accurate, detailed surveys.
By using a laser-scanner equipped UAV, we can quickly produce a 3D point cloud of the site. From this, we can create:
2D Drawings
Plans, Sections & Elevations
3D Models
For architects and contractors
Interactive
point clouds that can be viewed online in full colour from any angle
This gives all stakeholders a shared, accurate view of the site without even setting foot on it.
Things to Know
Drone use is subject to strict location restrictions — for example, built-up areas, airports , and certain sensitive sites (like His Majesty’s back garden). Providing us with your site location early helps us confirm whether a survey is possible and give you accurate costs and timescales.
