High-precision 3D surveys – fast, accurate, and future-proof.
Surveying used to be slow and labour-intensive, with every detail measured by hand. Technology has changed that.
From the humble tape measure and theodolite to today’s advanced laser scanners, the industry has transformed – and so have we.
What is 3D Laser Scanning?
Laser scanners capture up to 1 million measurement points per second over distances of 200 metres or more. This creates a highly detailed 3D “point cloud” of the surroundings – walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and more. If you stand still long enough, you’ll even appear in it!
Why does it matter?
3D laser scanning allows us to quickly and accurately record spaces of any scale – from a single room to an entire building, and even city streets. The results can then be used for:
2D drawings (plans, sections, elevations)
3D models and digital twins
BIM (Building Information Modelling)
Heritage recording and conservation
Even creative industries like video games and film production
